Forum and polls
Posting under your own name, and votes that count once.
The forum
Members post under their own names in the forum; the site's official account appears as EduFabTech with an “official” badge, and a private message from anyone claiming to be the site is always fake. Topics live in categories; replies are a flat, chronological list. To answer a particular reply, use Reply on it — the person is notified and your reply is linked to theirs. To quote, use Quote; quoting copies text, replying tells someone.
Topics can be followed; the person who started a topic can mark one reply as the answer. New accounts can post fewer links until they have been around a while. Hidden posts show the rule they broke to their author; see how reports and removals work.
Polls
Polls are voted on by verified members — one person, one vote, enforced by the database — and the results are public to everyone, as raw counts. Each poll publishes its numbers at /polls/<name>.json under CC BY 4.0, so anyone can cite them. Until a poll has 30 votes the page says “early results”, and a leading answer is named only once enough people have voted for it to mean something. Your vote is never shown to anyone and stays counted even if you close your account; we do not change published results after the fact.
