Travel and hosting

How it works

Travel, be welcomed, and welcome others.

1

Announce a trip

Where you are going, when, how many of you, and what you are open to: a place to stay, meeting up, or an invitation to something.

2

Locals answer

Members who live along your route — within their radar distance — see it and offer. You see who is offering before you say yes.

3

Make it a plan

Accepting opens a conversation. Either of you proposes a plan, the other confirms. Afterwards you both say whether it happened, and write a reference.

Hosting is free. Everyday costs — food, cleaning, transport — are shared; how you share them is between the two of you. EduFabTech promises and guarantees nothing. The rules

What this is — and what it is not

Travel on EduFabTech is between members: a traveller announces, people who live there offer, and the two of them decide. No money passes through the site, there is no booking, no rating of homes, and nobody at EduFabTech arranges anything. What the site does is keep the record straight: who offered what, which plans were confirmed, which happened, and what each side said afterwards.

Everything about a trip is visible only to signed-in members. Visitors see counts — how many trips, which cities — nothing more.

The pieces

For travellers

Up to 5 stops, up to 6 people, 2 trips open at a time. Offers come to you; you choose.

For hosts

A home card says who you host and how. Radar tells you who is coming within the distance you chose.

References and trust

After a plan happens, each of you writes a reference — sealed until both are in, then opened together.

Events

Meetups, workshops and talks posted by members, with organisers who answer for them.

Safety and culture

Public place first, messages on the site, the right to say no, and how blocking and reporting work.

Questions

Costs, age, privacy, what happens when a plan falls through.
