Games

Short brain games, the daily round, tables and challenges.

Playing

The games are short brain games — reflexes, attention, memory, numbers, words, logic, spatial reasoning and planning. There are 17 of them and they run in your browser; nothing is installed. You can play every one of them without an account, and nothing about a visitor's round is sent to the server. Each game page starts a round the moment it opens.

The daily round

Each game has one round a day that is the same for everyone — the same puzzle, the same deal of cards, the same pieces. A signed-in member's first finished daily round counts for the tables: today, this week (the sum of your daily points since Monday) and all time (your highest single round, in any mode). Play the same game again that day and it is practice — it can still become your all-time high, but it does not change today's table. Scores run from 0 to 1000; the server works them out from what you did (time, mistakes, moves), not from a number the browser sends.

Challenges

A member can challenge another member to the very same round: you play first, they get a notification and play the same puzzle, and both of you see the result. A challenge stays open for 7 days. The official account cannot be challenged, and neither can a member you have blocked or who has blocked you — the refusal reads the same in every case, so a block is never revealed.

Your brain profile

From your rounds in the last 30 days the games page draws a profile per skill (the average of your top 3 rounds in that skill) and a streak of consecutive days with a daily round. Only you see it.

Names, fair play and your data

Tables show members by name. If you would rather not appear, tick Keep me off the leaderboards on the games page — you still see your own place. A result that is physically impossible (a Sudoku in two seconds) is kept but never enters a table, and a moderator can remove a suspicious round. There are no prizes, no bets and no money. Closing your account deletes all your rounds and challenges; see privacy and terms.
