Cities and universities
City pages, campus pages and the university guide.
City pages
Every country and city has a page under /in — for example /in/netherlands/amsterdam — and every city has topic pages: flatmates, rooms, second-hand, jobs, study spaces, events and more. They show what members have posted within the city's radius, how many are looking versus offering, and a sourced guide where one has been written. A box called Community here shows counts — how many members live nearby, how many host, how many are coming — and never names. Until a page has at least 3 real listings or a sourced guide, it is kept out of search engines on purpose; we do not publish empty pages as if they were full.
Campus pages
Each university and campus has pages under /near, built around the campus's own location with a small radius: /near/<university>/rooms, …/flatmates and so on. The data comes from Wikidata; if a campus is missing or misplaced, tell us.
The university guide
Universities lists institutions worldwide with what is publicly recorded about them — website, social accounts, founding year, student numbers, public or private — and links to our articles that mention each one. It is reference material, not ranking; we publish what the record says and where it came from.
Student city articles
The blog's Student Cities series describes, city by city, where students live, what things cost, how to get around and what the first week looks like — with sources. Each article ends with “Find in …” links to that city's pages, and each city page links back.
