Listings
Rooms, flatmates, second-hand, jobs, study spaces and events.
What a listing is
Listings are a noticeboard, not a marketplace: rooms and flatmates, second-hand things, jobs and internships, study spaces, and events. No money passes through the site — a price is text that two people read, and anyone asking you to pay through EduFabTech is a scammer. Post what you offer, or post a wanted ad for what you are looking for (a room, a desk, a flatmate), with a budget if you like.
Posting
Four short steps: what, details, where, publish. Choose a country and a city or district; you can drop a pin on a map, and the pin is shown to others only as a rough circle, never the exact spot, unless you post as a business. Add photos; the site re-encodes them and strips location data from them. A listing runs for 7 days; renew it any time and it runs 7 more from that moment. Editing does not extend it. A new account can have 3 live listings, an account older than a week 10.
Events are the one exception to the 7-day rule: an event stays up until it ends. Posting one means answering for it; you can invite co-organisers, set a number of seats, and members say “I'm going”. After the event, both sides say whether it happened. Events in detail.
Contact and safety
By default replies come through the site's messages, so your email and phone stay private; you can publish an email, phone or website instead, and then it is shown only to signed-in, verified members who press the button — never in the page itself, never to search engines. Businesses must show their name, address and contact. What may not be listed. Anyone, member or not, can report a listing; the owner of a removed listing is told the rule and can appeal.
Finding listings
Type a place in the box — city, district or university — and choose a radius (5 km, 10 km, 25 km, 50 km, 100 km, 250 km). Results are sorted nearest first, with the distance shown. If nothing is inside the circle, you see the nearest listings instead of an empty page. Switch to the map to see them placed. Every city has pages like /in/turkey/istanbul/flatmates; every campus has /near/<university>/rooms and friends — see cities and universities.
